After a week at the hospital... but I'm back!

Going back to Chicago!!!

Hola 👋🏼

First off, sorry for going MIA for a bit! The past month has been pretty wild. What was supposed to be a quick two and a half week vacation in Mexico turned into almost a month away.

I kicked things off with some solid family time in Vallarta, but then, out of nowhere, I ended up spending a week in the hospital thanks to an infection. It was definitely not the way I planned on extending my trip, but I’m on the mend now and getting ready to head back to Chicago before winter hits.

Even with that hospital, I’ve been making the most of my time here in San Luis. I’ve been diving deep into Sexto Abismo, and especially into TigreTigre. We’re working hard to improve the TigreTigre experience and bring in new customers. The hospitality world has been a blast—super hands-on and fulfilling. I’ve also been eating at TigreTigre a lot, always looking for ways to up our game with the service and food. 🤤

It’s been a solid month on the Atla* front, even with the health hiccups. We just wrapped up a big project from London, which feels like a huge win, and now we’re gearing up for a new project in the U.S. with some serious potential. I’m pumped about what we can do with this one. As we close out the month, I’m focusing on making our agency’s structure more professional and letting our portfolio shine so people see the actual value of our work.

Over at WeLoveDaily, we finally launched the mockups—a huge win! But we’re still tweaking the e-commerce side to make it even better.

I’ll be honest—keeping up with content and newsletters while I’ve been here in San Luis has been challenging. My routine’s been over the place, and I’ve been juggling a lot, mostly trying to help wherever possible. But I’m getting back on track and can’t wait to share more updates with you all soon.

Thanks so much for sticking with me, and I appreciate your understanding during this time.

José
